October is peak mushroom season, and there is nowhere better to spend it than out at Linacre Reservoir. We return to one of Derbyshire’s most beautiful reservoirs with professional forager Andrew Ford for a dedicated fungi forage through the woodland.
Andrew will guide you through identifying the extraordinary variety of mushrooms that emerge at this time of year — from the edible and exquisite to the ones best left alone. It’s a walk that changes the way you see woodland forever.
Afterwards, we head to Cuthorpe Village Hall for a sit-down foraged taster menu built entirely around what the season has to offer. Expect something special.
